Welcome!

We’re so glad you’ve found us online.

We hope the following content helps you learn more about our passion and focus at Cross Current.

From our Sunday morning meetings through our weekly groups to our community activities, everyone is welcome at our church!

No matter what you believe (or your background), no matter how you dress, no matter what choices you’ve made last week, God wants to speak to you.

Come and experience His amazing love for yourself.

What to Expect

At Cross Current, we see ourselves as walking together intimately as friends and family, so we behave accordingly.  Expect our dress to be quite casual and laid back.  Expect a freedom-filled and relaxed atmosphere, focused on the love of Jesus Christ in our own lives and the desire to share that love with others.

Expect to be loved by our heavenly Father God.  Expect to experience His presence as we give Him our worship and receive His word.

No matter what you believe, we encourage you to come and experience God’s love at Cross Current.

SUNDAY MORNINGS

Coffee

When you arrive, you will be welcomed and encouraged as a member of our family.  We love each other just as we are, so please come as you are.

As you come in, please feel free to grab a coffee before the service begins as you find a seat.

We collect an offering during the service, but we don’t expect our guests to give to the church unless they would like to.

The offering is a time for those who are committed to Cross Current to give their tithes and offerings to the Lord.

Worship

We are a church that anticipates with excited hearts all that the Spirit of God desires to do in our midst through our time in worship.

We pray God’s life-changing power and revelation will pour down among us as we lift our hearts in worship to Him.

We also believe God speaks through His people.  If a prophetic word is given to one of His children for the community, we encourage it to be brought forward as the Holy Spirit leads.

Kids

Children are very welcome and cherished at Cross Current Community Church.

During our Sunday service we have children’s church for kids, as well as a nursery where your child will be cared for by wonderful, loving volunteers.

We begin the service by worshiping together as families, before the children head to their classrooms for children’s ministry time during the message.

Message

We believe that God’s word is just as true and relevant today as it was when it was written.

Its words hold power, life and the final authority in all issues of life.

We trust that the Holy Spirit will move through the weekly teaching which is founded on God’s word.

Our church is wheelchair accessible.  All are welcome.

WAIT Prayer

Every week on Tuesday night from 7-9 PM, we “wait” on the Lord.  We remember to unite in intercession (asking God something for someone else) and fasting for the Lord to bring His Revival to our lives, to our church, and to our city and beyond.  Look at these verses from the Bible:

Psalm 38:15 But for you, O Lord, do I wait; it is you, O Lord my God, who will answer.

Psalm 27:14 Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart;  Wait, I say, on the Lord!

Soaking and Fasting are two lifestyle choices to deepen your relationship with Jesus.  Want to know more?  Check out the links and please ask us!

Alpha

Alpha is a series of informal meetings aimed at open discussion about Christianity and why so many are drawn to it. There’s no obligation to attend every meeting but there’s always food and an opportunity to ask the questions you may have about God and the Bible.
